Globus Sues To Enforce Noncompete and Nondisclosure Agreements of Former Engineer

November 21, 2017 – On November 17, Globus Medical Inc. filed suit against a former engineer who resigned to take a position with Stryker, a competing spinal implant maker.  According to the complaint, the engineer is barred from working from any Globus competitor for a period of 18 months. Globus’s complaint lodges breach of contract, misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair competition, and tortious interference causes of action against the engineer.

The case is Globus Medical Inc. v. Davis, case number 2:17-cv-11818, in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
